The POE-150/150S product includes two units: an Injector and a splitter. An injector inserts DC Voltage into the CAT 5 cable allowing the cable between the Injector and Splitter to transfer data and power simultaneously. The maximum distance between the Injector and Splitter is up to 100M.

With POE-150 installed, it is combines the Ethernet digital data with power over the twisted pair cables as an injector, and POE-150S, the splitter, shall separate the digital data and the power into two outputs.

With IEEE802.3af Power over Ethernet is installed, the system administrator only have to use a single RJ-45 Ethernet cable to carries both power and date to each device besides POE-150/150S also have following benefit whish is cost saving, ease for networking planning and higher reliability. What more, upon any IEEE802.3af installed, the POE-150 or POE-150S all can make the connection while migrating or splitting the power and the Ethernet digital packets. Providing three kind of DC output, the POE-150S shall provide up to 2A, 1.3A and 1A DC current at model POE-150S-5V, 150S-9V and 150S-12V.

There are 24 RJ-45 STP ports on the front panel of hub. Half of the ports on lower stack function as "Data" and the other half on upper stack function as "Data and Power output". Each of the "Data and Power output" port on upper stack operates as an injector which inserts DC Voltage into the CAT 5 cable allowing the cable between the Injector and Splitter to transfer data and power simultaneously.

To manage your powered devices, POE-1200 provide both Web and Console management interfaces in which administrators can use the functions including port Enable/Disable, port priority, system configuration, and Username/Password changing and with smart features for powered device. The Hub can auto detect the power status on each port and show massages on both Web and Console management interface. These features also provide a cost-effective way to manage the devices from Internet whenever you are at work or at home.

Inherited from PLANET FGSW-2402VS and 2620VSF, the PLANET FGSW-2620PVS provides 24 10/100Mbps Fast Ethernet ports and 2 fixed 10/100/1000Mbps ports (either Gigabit copper or SFP). And the FGSW-2402PVS offers 24 10/100Mbps Fast Ethernet ports with 2 open slots (port25, 26). The two open slots can be installed by optionally 10/100Base-TX port, 1000Base-T port, 100Base-FX, or 1000Base-SX/LX fiber-optic interfaces. The distance can be extended from 100 meters (TP), 2 kilometers (Multi-mode, ST or SC), up to 70 kilometers (Single-mode, SC / WDM / SFP).

Both switches are equipped with non-blocking 8.8Gbps backplane greatly simplify the tasks of upgrading your LAN to cater to increased bandwidth demands. For efficient management, the Web Smart Switch is equipped with console and Web interface and can be programmed for basic switch management functions, such as port speed configuration, Port Trunking, VLAN, Port Mirroring, QoS, bandwidth control, PoE power inject priority and Misc Configuration including IP, password settings.

The Switch provides port-based VLAN (including overlapping). The VLAN groups allowed on the switch will be maximally up to 26 for port-based VLAN. Via supporting port trunking, the Switch allows the operation of a high-speed trunk connecting to multiple ports. The Switch also provides seven groups of up to 4-ports for trunking, and it supports fail-over as well.

Support dual power system, FSD-803PE either can be powered by 12VDC from the local AC outlet, or can be powered remotely through 802.3af Power over Ethernet standard. Port# 1 of the FSD-803PE supports IEEE802.3af Power over Ethernet standard that can negotiate with the remote 802.3af whether to feed the power or not. As soon as the network manager deploys the IEEE802.3af devices in the computer room such as the PLANET POE-150, the FSD-803PE can be powered from the POE equipment. For example, if there is a PC located at 200 meters away and would like to get connected, FSD-803PE would offer the most convenient way to make it. The manager needs simply to install FSD-803PE at the middle of the PC and the central network where 802.3af power over Ethernet feeding the power needed for the FSD-803PE. No additional power outlet is required.

With Auto-MDI support, FSD-803PE can direct wire to any Ethernet / Fast Ethernet devices through Category-5 UTP cable. LED indictors help diagnose the activities of the switch.
